First of all congratulations to the new launch of the Grants Ambassador's Dashboard page! LFG!!

Journeys can not only help connect Stacks Advocates and community members to Stacks Grants but it has its own technology support community initiatives through MicroDAOs! 🎉

What are MicroDAOs?

MicroDAOs are community-generated commons or pools of resources. Its setup is kind of like a simpler version of a multisig except it uses consensus rather than voting to pass proposals or transactions.

What do I mean it uses consensus?

Whereas a multisig can be set to operate on a 2/5 or 4/7 or any number of signers required out of a total number to commit a transaction, consensus requires that nobody dissent, instead. So how it works on a technical level is a time (3 days for example) is set for every member of the DAO to have the opportunity to dissent to a funding proposal (see dissent-period in above example) or DAO creation. It is a trustful system.
