BTC Sports Roadmap 2.0 - Light Paper

Roadmap 1.0 was all about establishing the BTC Sports Brand & building a great Community! In the past 6 months, we opened our Discord Community, issued the BTCS VIP Pass Member Collection, provided all our VIPs with free access to the World Cup Flag Game with a 20,000 STX prize pool, issued the OG Soccer collection with a 10,000 STX prize pool, played the WC Bracket Game and lived the excitement of the Qatar World Cup together!

Roadmap 2.0 is all about on-chain fantasy sports gaming/playing and growing into a multi-sport project. We are building a Gaming Platform where users will be able to play their favourite sport on a daily/weekly and per season basis.

BTC Sports Ordinal / STX Collection

A fun BTCS logo/sport based unique collection that will be available for our most loyal users (VIP+OG Soccer) and for a handpicked selected audience. The Collection will first be minted in STX and then inscribed in Bitcoin with the Ordinal ID as a trait on the STX collection. While we see how Ordinals develop, we will have a full STX collection enjoying full utility: Token Generation, Premium Benefits, Airdrops and more.

BTC Sports Coin Collection - Flag Re-purpose

BTC Sports will be executing the biggest STX collection re-purpose ever done! World Cup Flags were given to our VIP users as one of our great benefits where everyone participated for a 20,000 STX prize pool! Now, Flags will be swapped for BTC Sports Coins! We will take 2 zeros from the Flag points and swap for a corresponding coin. Initially we will have GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE coins following the Olympic tradition with more alloys to come in the future.

New 3D Characters & Formula 1 Collection

We are working on a new 3D Character that will be the base of our new Formula 1 Collection, soon we will bring some sneak peaks to the Community. This Character was used on our submission to Moon Bound a quest for NFTs from Gamma!

BTCS Off-Chain Loyalty Token

We will create an off-chain loyalty utility token that will serve as center for our gaming services, focusing on a fantasy sport model allowing our users to play their favourite sport leagues & tournaments on daily/weekly basis for a chance to win exciting prizes. BTCS Loyalty Token will enhance user experience and drive engagement within our sports platform. Initially BTCS Tokens will be earned exclusively by our NFT collections and Discord participants.

Phase #1: Off-Chain Token Launch (May 2023)

Off-chain Token launch with its yield based on the user’s BTC Sports holdings of STX NFTs.

Phase #3: Sport Player Rating & Yield (July 2023)

A key aspect on the future development of BTC Sport’s Fantasy Play will be the integration of APIs for sport player ratings. By leveraging existing player rating data, we can provide a more accurate and immersive gaming experience for BTC Sports users.

BTC Sports will be linking its NFTs to real soccer players. These NFTs will provide ownership of virtual player cards, and the value of the NFT will be determined by the average rating of the corresponding player for a particular season. Token yield will be based on the player rating, providing an additional incentive for users to collect and trade high-rated players. As a player’s average rating moves up and down throughout the season, so does the amount of token yielded.

BTC Sports will pull player ratings data from an external API and then use this information to power our own token yield. We will then provide our own APIs on top of this new data and update the collection commands to show new yield info.

Phase #4: Fantasy Sport Gaming Platform (~Q3 2023)

At this stage BTC Sports will be implementing sports fantasy sport functionality/playing using the token on the BTC Sport website and Discord channel. This will allow users to place their predictions on their favourite sports and teams, thus participating for prizes and adding an exciting new dimension to the platform and increasing engagement among users.

• Single Sport Event Game Play (one-off, major worldwide events fantasy predictions)

• Multiple Events Sport Play (weekly top sports/games fantasy predictions)

• Tournaments/Season/League Game Play (longer timeframes with weekly fantasy predictions).
