Mage had odd of 15/1 and outlasted Two Phil’s which had a 9/1 odd and Angel of Empire with odds of 4/1 placing second and third respectively. A total y 5 horses were removed from the race, the most scratches in the Kentucky Derby since 1936.

Derby Collection Winners!

We have totaled the points as per the rules published on our previous Sigle article and shown in the image below and our users Osouno, Yohun & Johnnyscotcho resulted the winners of 250 STX pot for this race and currently lead the leader board entering the second race which will be held at The Preakness Stakes on May 20th.

Derby Ordinals!

Many of you have asked us about Derby Ordinals, so we have decided to to award the winners of the Kentucky Derby a FREE Derby Ordinal drop. As of now all Derby lucky #8 horses will be inscribed as an Ordinal! And sent to the owner of the NFT. There will be a snapshot date, so if you sell your lucky 8 now, you will also sell the Ordinal.

Same procedure will be done with The Preakness Stakes (May 20) & The Belmont Stakes (June 11) winners. This means that we will have a minimum of 15 horses in our Derby Ordinal Collection. We will invite all other owners to participate by paying the costs of inscription (we wont charge any extra). This is “optional” and you may choose to do so after the last race in June. Currently the prices of inscriptions are CRAZY high (about $20) when previously was $2.50. So if by the end of June the prices have increased we will wait until they are lower than $20 to inscribe. We would prefer to inscribe when fees come down so we can have a larger Derby Ordinal Collection.
