Hello Metaverse!

Hello everybody!

This is GraceHye and this is the beginning of my journey through the Stacks world. I'm a South Korean artist based in Paris and lucky enough to make a living out of my artwork, which mainly consists of Chinese ink and mix media paintings and decorative ceramic pieces that I exhibit at my gallery in Paris. I've got an academic background in digital art but I didn't follow that path until recently; I was involved with the fashion world for a few years, well I still am and maybe one day I will manage a NFT drop of a capsule collection, that will be a story for another day.

I'm still a rookie to the crypto world but I've learnt enough to know about the relevance of Bitcoin and Proof of Work and what they mean for true decentralization. I did some experiments with NFTs on Ethereum and since I found out about Stacks I said to myself that this was my gate to the Metaverse and a chance to develop my digital art works. I might be right, since lately the Stacks NFT space has been blooming and for sure this trend will go on. The good thing with Stacks is that it's much more than just NFTs, there are dozens of really cool applications and above all there is a very friendly and open ecosystem. I'm very proud to be part of this community and I'll try to contribute to its development.

As an artist, my work always tried to express, through layers of metaphors and a superposition of shapes, the complexities of human feelings and interactions.

The digital version of my art will be more focused on the intersection of the physical and digital art worlds, I would like to dive deeper in the understanding of how the new digital art forms are impacting and modifying our relation with the physical art.

I've got lots of ideas and new projects to develop, I really wish that one day some of them will come true in the Stacks blockchain; as I said before, this is only the beginning of my journey, let's see where this first step will take me.
