Time flies away on this side of the Metaverse and just a few days after I published my first story with Sigle, my first NFT collection is open for minting at StacksArt! Ten beautiful and unique Entangled Flowers are locked inside a smart contract for you to mint them on the Stacks blockchain.
As the title of the collection implies, each one of these floral NFTs is subtly connected with an object of the physical world; before Entangled Flowers came to life, I had already drawn a physical collection entitled Full Bloom, where I tried to express a different feeling through the drawing of a flower.
The flowers of the NFT collection are an inverted reflection of their physical counterparts; this is my first attempt to create a relation between the physical art work and the digital version that will live in a blockchain.
I find very compelling these drawings of flowers because they become a metaphor of our digital identities, those flowers will thrive in the Stacks blockchain as well as one day our digital identities might reach their full bloom through the powers unchained by Bitcoin.
We spend nowadays more and more of our existence in virtual worlds, we've got several digital identities and we can pay with digital money for a virtual land where we could soon share our digital memories. But this virtual existence needs to keep a balance with the physical world if it wants to be fruitful, and this harmony is the main message behind Entangled Flowers.
I really wish that you enjoy their beauty as much as I enjoyed creating them!
I hope this is the first of many other artistic projects that I plan to develop in the future. Thanks a lot to the whole StacksArt team for all their support!
Cheers,
