Chemical Romance

Chemical Romance is an ode to a period of time in my life where I almost exclusively listened to grunge rock, alt rock and emo. The name of the piece itself is a deliberate ode to My Chemical Romance, a band which I used to listen to frequently. I hope that this piece is able to create a more comedic and joyful atmosphere around a genre of music which hasn't always had a whole positive association. This genre of music will continue to inspire my work in the future but this piece has also shown me that other genres of music I listen to, could also create inspiration.
