We Are Ready Indeed

I have so much to share with you today, its going to be tough to condense it all into one blog entry. So lets get to it.

Coolest Announcement

As of today, I am thrilled to report that I will be working with Flagship.FYI as a Captain covering the Stacks ecosystem. In case you aren’t familiar with Flagship, lets get you all up to speed.

Most of you reading this blog have been in this space for a while. Some of you are degens, like myself, and live and breathe this stuff. However, in the scheme of things, we are early adopters and the vast majority of future crypto natives will not be cut from the same cloth. In fact, I am willing to bet that most people will just want crypto exposure, and that in and of itself can be challenging. We have cut our teeth in the Wild West, and we are building the towns that will become the cities of the future, so to speak.

So how does one learn about what projects are worth buying without spending an inordinate amount of time doing research?

Flagship.FYI

Is an investment network that helps people identify promising cryptocurrency projects and invest in them through a tool called "Vaults," which are made up of baskets of different projects in specific areas of the cryptocurrency industry. This allows people who will probably never go full degen to gain exposure to several promising crypto projects, while keeping it user friendly.

Flagship has a network of experts called "Captains" who are experienced in specific crypto ecosystems, and they curate the Vaults to help investors make informed decisions. Flagship also provides up-to-date information on the cryptocurrency industry through its Outposts, which are pages dedicated to specific areas of the industry.

Flagship will be fully controlled and owned by its community of investors, and users can earn rewards and have a say in the network's governance by owning Flagship's native token, FLAG.

So I will be working as a Captain, covering the Stacks ecosystem. So, you can call me Captain Jack, savvy? I jest of course, but it is hard not to inject a bit of levity when I am this excited. When I started this blog nearly one year ago being able to do something like this seemed like an insurmountable goal.

Being able to tell people about what’s going on in Stacks is one of my favorite things, and I am honored to be a part of the team! I wouldn’t have been able to get this far if it wasn’t for all of your love and support, so thank you!

2nd Coolest Announcement

As fate would have it, just a few days before the State decided to go after crypto banks, I published “ We Are Ready” to Sigle, as well as inscribed an ordinal to Bitcoin. Admittedly I am not a poet, but I was trying to tell a story while capturing a feeling. The big hint to the story lies in the phrase “The Isle of Fright”, this is referring to Jekyll Island. The story being told is of the creation of the Federal Reserve (the Leviathan), and the subsequent havoc it has wreaked to not just the citizens of the US, but worldwide (“The Creature from Jekyll Island” is a must read btw). The weapon of course is Bitcoin.

After writing the piece, I just kept getting more and more hyped, and within no time I found myself talking to my very creative friend Styled Pigeon about some ideas. One of which is that I will be soon launching the “We Are Ready” podcast. Ultimately I would like to see a community grow up around this idea that we are indeed free, and especially free to use our creativity to tell the story of how decentralization will empower us all. So expect some news coming out, and be on the lookout for the first We Are Ready podcast episode.

3rd Coolest Announcement

After speaking to my friends Zero and Hodl of Zero Authority DAO I have decided to start narrating my blogs. As someone who loves to read, admittedly I listen to more audiobooks these days than anything. So it makes sense to me that other people might not have as much time to do as much reading as they prefer, so be on the lookout for this as well.

Final Announcement

I have some great interviews lined up for articles to be published in the near future. The kids were on Spring Break this week, so it has been hectic to say the least. I will be highliting some new NFT projects in the Stacks ecosystem, talking with Atlas and Doc of NFT Clothing Club, an interview with Ragnar about ordinals, and talks with Hiro and Xverse in the pipeline. So be on the lookout for those!

Closing Thoughts

This is an exciting time to be a Stacks obsessed Bitcoiner. People are truly starting to learn the value of Bitcoin, and those a bit farther ahead are learning the value of smart contracts on Bitcoin. This bear market sucks, the last one sucked too, and we might not be finished with this one. That said, people are waking up every day to the reality of the fiat system imposed upon us by the central banks of the world.

In addition to the wealth destroying fiat scam, they are also waking up to the horror of what a CBDC would mean for them and their freedom. I know that it seems like this is taking forever, but take it from an old guy, this is the fastest I have seen this occur in my lifetime. So keep doing what you do. How do you kill the Leviathan? With one Bitcoin buy at a time.

That is all I have to say for now, thank you so much for reading. Until next time, Jack.

PS: The guys from Sigle launched their NFT bot, it is a fantastic way to track your NFT sales via Twitter. It goes without saying that I am a big fan of the Sigle team, and have been folloing the Sigle sales bot for a long time now. If you want to get this bot for your NFT community, just click the link.
