Equally Yoked

This funnily enough happened today,

This morning my wife and I were talking about muse, she said that some writers talk of it as a form of magic. I believe her, she is the most literate woman I have ever met. Fiction, Tolkien is her fav, she has read at least 10 times the amount of books I have, and I have read a lot. She said that people believed when you had the inspiration, muse, some sort of magic. whatever that it is disrespectful not to use it.

So just now, as we were laying in bed, I saw an old comedian named Gallagher. I quickly turned it on because when I was a little boy I used to stop the channels if I saw him on the television. He hit food with big hammers and told jokes, it was crack for a 6 year old. So I was going to watch it for nostalgias sake.

side note. Gallagher is based. Find the one streaming on Prime. This was hilarious, look at the people, how happy they were. It was fun and innocent, and just great entertainment.

I didn't think she was paying attention, but then she was laughing, alot.

That is when it hit me, equally yoked. This certainly feels like inspiration, so we are rolling with it

This isn't the first time I have thought about this concept. In our relationship/marriage, it grew over time. The acknowledgement of what being complimented by your partner really means. Not verbally complimented, I mean complimentary in natures. Its a unique experience. My wife has a similar sense of humor, I grew up listening to stand up comics, on vinyl, after waiting for adults to fall asleep. I have a unique sense of humor. This works for me. I am truly blessed, Thank you Father.

No shit

That sounds pretty ideal right? Who doesn't want that? Everyone wants that man, its rare because it requires effort.

People you have to go through hard stuff sometimes, its part of life. You cant run from it, and it is how you handle the hard stuff that matters. Trials build character. Find the weak points, ask for the wisdom to find them. You will come through the other side better.

That is how you become men, face your demons, conquer them, and be better. Obviously you can see how I must have dealt with mine, faith. This is a subject for later.

You have to be strong enough to help a woman that you are equally yoked with. Where is she broken, how effortless is it for you to help her? Is it sinking in? I will make this very simple:

If you woman needs to be held a lot, like more than you think is appropriate, how much of a pain in the ass is it for you to do that for her? That is the equation. It should be within your scope and ideally something you enjoy doing. Equally yoked, savvy?

Often we try to find someone we are going to fit into our lives and train them. This is where most frustration can be found. If you are there, you are getting a roadmap out. Pay attention. This must stop.
