Emily Lazar is now on Parrot Radio
Emily Lazar is a multi-disciplinary artist fronting the rock/metal transmedia project, September Mourning, who made history as the first female metal/ hard rock musician to mint and sell an NFT. She currently has over 1500 collectors across 9 platforms.
She has spoken about her accomplishments in Web 3/ NFT's at Harvard (2x), http://NFT.NYC(2x), NFT LA, Art Basel, and ETH Denver Conferences. Emily is one of five council members for the @nft_ IG page followed by 1.5 million people.
In 2023 Emily was selected alongside noteworthy musicians and artists like Snoop Dogg, Beeple, Pussy Riot, Fvckrender and more to be featured in the documentary “NFT WTF” which is airing on Netflix UK now and will be on Netflix USA in June.
September Mourning is based on a comic book series she wrote and published through Image/Top Cow Comics with her business partner Marc Silvestri (Batman/Witchblade/Darkness). She plays the title character on stage.
Emily designed the world she and her band bring to life on stage, including costumes, choreography, sets, etc. She has toured & opened festivals for Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot and others in Europe and the United States, as well as Comic Cons and Anime Festivals. Lazar and the band have over 500k followers across socials.
