You Can Trust Bitcoin
You can trust Bitcoin. It is simple as that. You can trust Bitcoin to hold its value through space and time. You can trust Bitcoin's value won't be inflated away on the whim of some jerks in an ivory tower because it can't. There are only 21 million coins that are ever going to be produced. Can you say that about Gold? How about silver?
There is always an enterprising company willing to dig more gold out of the ground if the price is enough. You can trust the Bitcoin that you have in your wallet is yours and not being lent out by big banks who are practicing fractional reserve lending.
What they are doing is lending out money they don't have in the hopes that there isn't a run on the bank. Guess what happens if everyone went to the bank and tried to withdraw money. The bank would limit how much of your OWN money that you can have or they flat out would not give it to you.
You see when you deposit money in the bank it is no longer YOURS. It belongs to the bank and they can do whatever the hell they want with it.
This is why we get bank crisis after bank crisis. The bankers get greedy by making stupid investments and passing the grenade before it blows up in their face.
The banks don't get screwed when it blows up, it is the little guys like you and me that are left to pick up the pieces of our lives and carry on. The banks, bank managers, and hedge funds get bailed out by the government and get to party on their private yachts.
How fucked up is that? These people should be in jail for their crimes against the American people. You can take this power they have over you and the government by simply adopting a better form of money. With Bitcoin, you don't need a third party to hold it for you. Being your own bank is one of the most patriotic things that you can do.
As an American, you have the right to be free from government tyranny and mismanagement of the economy by oligarchs. To have a truly have a free-market economy we need to have free market money.
By trusting the Bitcoin protocol you will ensure that your children and future grandchildren inherit an economy that functions the way it is supposed to and incentivizes savings, entrepreneurship, and freedom.
