Introducing Meta Data

We heard you… writing stories is cool, but having the opportunity to share your writings with your community is even cooler.

That’s why we worked on meta data, allowing you to get fancy share boxes on social media and having the possibility of adding your own meta title and description.
From today, you can access your meta data through the « Editor » page.

First, go on app.sigle.io and let Blockstack access your data by logging in with the account of your choice.

If you don’t have one, we show you how to create one here.

Welcome to your dashboard

On this « My stories » page, you have access to all your drafts and published articles.

To see a post on your blog, don’t forget to publish it first by clicking on « publish ». The article will move from your drafts section to your published one.

Nothing complicated for now 🙂

OK, but how do I custom my Meta Data then?

Don’t worry, we're getting to the point.

To change meta data for any article, press the « Edit » button to go directly to the « Editor » page. Then, the only thing you have to do is click the red wheel icon on the right of your screen to open the settings menu.

Awesome, you now have access to the new feature!

Choose an image, the meta title of your choice and the meta description!
It will then appear like this on social networks :

What’s next?

You'll be very happy to know there is a lot more to come… Nobody is more excited than us right now for what is coming next.

As you may have noticed, we’re currently working very hard to make your experience on Sigle as smooth as possible and to show you that you can create AND protect your data without any compromise.

That’s why we’ll be focusing on the « Editor » page for the next feature to come. You'll be able to enjoy a brand new editor with more possibilities and an intuitive menu
With it, the possibility of uploading images directly from your computer (yes, finally!) and even an image drag and drop system.

Because sharing is important, you won't need to copy and paste the URL on social networks anymore… Instead, you'll find some discreet share buttons on your stories.

Last but not least, let’s pimp that blog a little!

Soon, a custom page will appear on your dashboard. From there, you’ll be able to add your very own code… Isn’t it awesome?

Don’t forget to drop us a line on Twitter or Facebook! Or even better, notify us while sharing your brand new blog 😉

Enjoy!
The Sigle Team.
