NFT CUSTOMIZATION & IN-GAME LOBBIES UPDATE

Welcome back, Stacks Degens! 

The past month has featured The Grand Stacks Degens Bear Market Tournament, involving 10 Stacks communities, charity, rewards, competition, and most importantly, entertainment.

Obviously, congrats to the racers that decided to represent the StacksDegens team and won the tournament; you are the real degens.

Moreover, the Miami Degen NFT collection minted out & reached a floor price of more than 200 STX. Thanks to the whole community for supporting us throughout this journey.

This journey has some exciting steps ahead, starting from NFT customization.

NFT CUSTOMIZATION

The NYC Degens and StacksPunks Degens collections minting will be stopped forever to proceed with the NFT customization step.

Soon, NYC and Miami Degens NFT holders will be able to modify the appearance of their NFTs. Similar to the StacksPunks Degenerator, holders will be able to customize different characters, cars, rims, attributes, components, and more to create unique racers & create the degen NFT that represents them the most.

In particular, the actual process will merge NYC & Miami Degen collections into one group only. Based on the amount of NFT racers you own and their rarity, you will be able to mint a new NFT that integrates all the NYC and MIA degens components.

Basically, you will receive a component NFT for each trait of your degen racer and combine them to create your own NFT degen racer. Remember that the rarest the attributes of your current degen NFT, the better the customizable items you will receive.

In addition, the pieces are actual NFTs. Therefore you can sell or purchase parts on marketplaces, trade them with other users and swap your car components which won't lead to burning the previously applied parts. Moreover, the different traits will have benefits based on their rarity; for example, a rare item will increase maximum speed by 5%.

IN-GAME LOBBIES

One final update is that the in-game lobbies beta will go live shortly. We know you have been waiting for some time, but it will be worth it.

This gaming mode will allow users to commit BTC or STX into a lobby, race against their friends, have fun and earn the allocated amount. In the beginning, the payouts will be only in STX, while we will enable BTC rewards in the near future.

We will start with a short beta version where racers can commit a maximum of 5/10 STX to ensure everything runs smoothly and take reviews from players. 

It's genuinely a massive moment for GameFi on Stacks, and we can't wait for our community to start playing this gaming modality.
