TRUSTLESS REWARDS, DEGEN RADIO AND LIGHTNING NETWORK

Greetings, Degens! We have another very exciting update for you all. The team is working hard behind the scenes getting our chickens in line. To start us off, we have a big tournament coming up on February 23rd. Details and registration may be found in the announcements channel in our Discord. The Team may have found the next NFT community we will be integrating into the game, as well as releasing details on more partnerships in the upcoming days.

Other than that, we are now in the process of creating the framework for a trustless rewards pool. We also have an in-game radio station we will be using to promote upcoming artists and allow for more diverse methods for promoting other projects in-game. And Twitch streamers are now racing Stacks Degens.

TRUSTLESS REWARDS POOL

With the help of LNSwap, we are officially in the process of creating the custom contract that will serve as the basis for trustless distribution of player rewards in future tournaments and lobbies. The exact payout formula will be disclosed as we get closer to completion, estimated to be complete around the end of February. Simply how it will work: Players will commit x STX to a record a run in a tournament. A LNSwap widget integration will allow for players to join with the Lightning Network and immediately be able to record their run without having to wait for their Stacks transaction to confirm. The time for the run is then recorded in a database, which will be saved on-chain periodically. At the end of the tournament, the contract will automatically pay out players based on where their run stacked up relative to all the other runs recorded.

DEGEN RADIO

With our partners at gm Regional Hospital (the $AINT$ Collection), we are working on an in-game radio that players may choose from various radio stations to listen to while playing the game. The stations will feature various unique themes and skits that differentiate it from other stations. $T GEI$T, one of the Chads behind gm Regional Hospital, has very exciting drops coming soon that will be featured in-game. Those who wish to promote their business or projects in our game may soon be able to do so through commercials on the radio-station. More details to follow.

DEGEN STREAMERS

Stacks Degens officially has our first Twitch streamer. Wackj0b is a lifelong gamer who recently endeavored on building an audience streaming on Twitch. He is a proud holder of Stacks Degens and is amped up for the upcoming trustless rewards pool. The Team has given him 10 Stacks Degens that he will be giving away to his audience over the next 10 weeks.
