🔊 Mint Postponement Announcement

📋 What happened?

The mint has been postponed from the initial soft date of 20th May.

📋 When is the mint now?

We plan to go to mint on 17th June 2022.

📋 What to expect in the coming weeks?

A lot more community building, AMAs with the team, product specs and feature reveals, roadmap updates, weekly updates on the status of the project.

🧰 Vaping Ape Club - Utility Tools Development:

We came into this space with the assumption that “NFTs as a utility” is the way forward. And every passing day and conversation strengthened our belief in that vision. We see it as a path that we (and hopefully other amazing collections on STX) can take to not only create a great community but also to provide tangible added value to a community that believes in us. Added value in terms of great tools, experiences and games. Things that can broaden the ecosystem and streamline workflows and the day to day experience of everyone on STX.

The community is going to be a direct beneficiary from the development on these tools. We plan that any holders of our Vaping Ape NFT will get free access to the tools we create. This may be extended to our partner collections as well.

As the first product; we have started speccing out a transactions and taxation consolidation tool for the community. Something that has been identified as a gap that needs more work from quite a few members of the STX community!

We have already finalized the requirement gathering phase and will now be moving on to the development phase of the tool. We will be providing further updates regarding the progression in development of this taxation tool in our weekly newsletters so stay tuned.

🎮 Vaping Ape Club - Games Development:

Also, in addition to our community tools efforts, we plan to bring some game experiences on for the STX community as well. Our direction here is still a bit more open ended when compared to tools. However, we have started brainstorming around potential games that can be made on here. We will also be updating the community about the progress in this area in our weekly newsletters so stay tuned for that as well.

🤝 Weekly Collaborations:

Collaborations are an important core part of the community. We believe that community growth is only possible when communities come together, join hands and work towards expanding their horizons. Hence to play our part in the stacks community, we do weekly collaborations with diverse projects. This week we felt proud to collaborate with MinoTauri. The collaboration resulted in a giveaway raffle with 20 Whitelist spots from both projects provided to the winners. We look forward to more collaborations and are open to provide support and assistance to projects on the stacks platform. Please feel free to reach out to us!

🃏 Poker Tournaments:

We feel proud to announce that we've joined the effort of brick.btc to bring the stacks community together by the help of poker tournaments. We believe that community growth is really important and we want to play a vital role in this area. Events such as poker are an excellent way to bring the community together. We have integrated his server's announcements to our server via a new channel dedicated to poker so that whenever an announcement goes out on his server it'll be automatically broadcasted to our community. We wish him the best of luck in this venture and we offer our full support to the cause of community growth. Huge shoutout to you Brick!
