Zero Authority DAO Presents: Diego Mey

By now you should know of Zero Authority DAO, if by some chance you do not, here is a primer. One of the innovations brought into the ecosystem by the Zero Authority team is known as the Cerulean Marketplace. The function of the Cerulean Marketplace is to bring together visionaries and talent together to create the newest projects/applications into the Stacks ecosystem. I will be writing creator profiles for those currently in the marketplace as a way to highlight the skills that these people bring to the table.

Diego Mey

Like me, Diego is a crypto class of 2017 alumni. Unlike me, Diego has a professional background in marketing and advertising and has combined his profession and his passion here in the Stacks ecosystem (Web 3 has a funny way of facilitating this). Diego's first introduction with Stacks was via the CityCoins launch in Summer of 2021, and by October of that year he was introduced to Stacks NFTs through the launch of Gamma (previously known as STXNFT). What immediately struck Diego about Stacks was the Proof-of-Transfer protocol utilized by Stacks, and by extension CityCoins. Within no time Diego had found himself enthralled with the Stacks community, understandably so.

By December 2022 Diego helped launch the City Packs Genesis collection, and the subsequent City Packs 001 Collection in March 2022. What are City Packs you ask? Well, City Packs are a NFT collection on the Stacks Blockchain that donates funding via the FNEI organization with the aim to provide better education opportunities for the students in the Miami-Dade public school district.

This one is mine. If you mint a City Pack in September, the funding will go towards getting supplies and resources in the hands of students for the current school year.

In addition to the work that Diego does with CityCoins/City Packs Diego is also the Co-founder of Bitflow Finance. In addition to all of this Diego has hosted several events including: The Miami Coin Artweek 2021, as well as the STX Unofficial AfterParty during Bitcoin Miami 2022. In addition to being an active member of the Stacks Community, Diego has also built up quite the network within the space.

Through Zero Authority's Cerulean Marketplace Diego is offering the following services:

This was the first of many Zero Authority profiles to come. Just writing this profile was beneficial to me personally. I have been in this game for a long time now, and sometimes you have these ideas you would like to see come to fruition but you just don't know where to start. This my friends is the purpose of The Cerulean Marketplace. We don't need permission, we don't need connections, we just need to want it bad enough. Zero Authority understands this, and this is the why for the Cerulean Marketplace.
