After a short break I am back to writing your favorite Blog on Sigle.io This week will be all about keeping track of what you eat and the apps and tools available for you to accomplish all your Diet or Healthy Eating Habit goals!

The App I am going to cover today is MyFitnessPal. I have used the app for many years since it first came out. The app covers all basic needs for people wanting to keep track of their calories, nutrients and macros and offers Premium features like the ability to scan barcodes of products and enter them to your diet easily, no ads, etc. By the way, the barcode feature was free but now has been put behind the pay wall, my guess is because the app is getting super popular on TikTok and other platforms.

One of the inconveniences of keeping track of your daily intakes is the ability to know exactly what you are eating, how much you are eating and tallying the nutrients, fats, sugars and overall macros. This app solves most of the issues above by providing you with information tables on what you have eaten so far, charts to show you which meal is destroying your goals and giving you the user the power to check every single item and make decisions based on how that will impact your daily goals.

For people that make their own meals from scratch, the app can help you find the ingredients separately and give you the option to create a meal out of them for future use. This to me is a game changer.

Now, the app alone won’t do the work for you. The app is here to empower the users with the best information available to make the right decision and attain your goals.

My personal tip would be to pair this app with a reliable kitchen/food scale to really track exactly how much you are eating.

Disclaimer, I do not get paid by My Fitness Pal. This is a good faith quick overview of the app that I now use daily and really love.
