Your Black Flowers dropping date is approaching, I'll run a few more collaborations to increase awareness of my project through the Stacks and artistic NFT ecosystems, but you can already join in my Discord to get more information; we're still early and if you join in soon you'll get an OG role.
In some previous blogs, I explained my artistic approach and the roadmap for my project; I'll give you now some more details about the message I want to convey with this work. Your Black Flowers is a NFT project revolving around the process of creation. During this project, I will play with some of the crypto rules and I'll bend them to try to mimic the flow of an artistic work through a series of 50 NFTs.
The project will start with the "Black Canvas", the first and paramount step of my collection because without this one the rest of the paintings wouldn't exist. The "Black Canvas" is a hint to some previous conceptual art works and it's also the reference for the rarity table of the collection; up to this point everything is still possible, that's why this NFT will get the highest artistic potential (100 points on the rarity table).
The following NFTs will be representations of each step of the Your Black Flowers creative process and for each step the artistic potential will slowly decrease, until we reach the last and final painting. This final painting could be considered as the fulfillment of this project but would also mark the beginning of another artistic journey.
Trying to follow one of the crypto rules and to be fair with everyone participating in the drop, the minting will be random, all the NFTs will be shuffled and since they'll be hidden before the reveal party you'll not know in advance which painting you'll get. I hope that doesn't bother you because holding any of the NFT will mean that you're part of an artistic community and you're entangled with a creative process, which is graved on a smart contract of the Stacks blockchain and we still don't know where it will take us.
Holding any of the NFTs might also entitled you to some IRL surprises and, if one day you can visit my gallery in Paris, you could also get a nice discount on some of my physical art works. I'd love to see who would be the first person to come to my gallery and proof ownership of one of my NFTs using Ryder, that shouldn't be a too far fetched dream!
Like Pablo Picasso said before:
I don't work from nature, I work like nature
I use the same approach for all of my artworks and I will follow now the same approach to grow organically a community of art lovers around the Stacks ecosystem. Please join in our journey and see you in the metaverse.
