You hear so many truths in this space that the temptation to just consider them platitudes becomes possible for even the most optimistic amongst us: Bitcoin is sound money, fiat is destructive to society, crypto is a true meritocracy, Web 3 empowers the individual, etc. Just because we say these things a lot does not diminish the truth inherent in these facts. When I asked 3hunnatheartist if he wanted to be featured in this blog, I had no idea that this man would personify these truths.

3hunnatheartist is a musician, performer, producer, NFT visionary, and he is just getting started. Well, not really. You see 3hunna started making music back in 2010, originally as a part of a gospel rap trio. In 2015 he went solo to make music to reach a broader audience, and he has been prolific. His YouTube channel alone has over 1,400 subscribers, he also has a catalogue on Spotify and a Facebook with over 22k followers. I first met 3hunnatheartist shortly after joining the Stacks ecosystem, where he has developed the NeoSwap anthem as well as in game music for the Stacks Degens game. This man puts in the work, and the proof is found in his refined sound. When asked about his musical inspirations, he listed familiar names such as: Kayne, Travis Clark, and Rick Ross. Their common factor? All self made.

3hunnatheartist understands Bitcoin in a way that most of us do not. 3hunnatheartist is from Zimbabwe, and the phrase hyperinflation isn't an academic term to the people of that Nation; it is their reality. Since 2007 Zimbabwe has suffered from the destructive force of hyperinflation. As of August 27, 2022 one US Dollar is equal to 361 Zibabwean Dollars (and one BTC =19,951 USD...). I have read about the pain and suffering of hyperinflated currency, 3hunnatheartist lives it. You wouldn't know it by talking to him, for there is no bitterness in this man, only love. 3hunnatheartist doesn't think that Bitcoin has some future use case to replace fiat, he knows how it empowers people.

When talking about goals and aspirations, I learned that 3hunnatheartist ultimately dreams of owning a studio where he would be able to produce music, at no charge, for other artist. This altruism is not just a future goal as he has no copyright claims on his music NFTs. Anyone who owns one of his NFTs (3hunnatheartist graciously gifted me with one of my own) can use his music in any endeavor of their own. In real time we see Web 3 being utilized to empower the individual to create, and further provide more creative opportunities for others. It is no accident that we see this dynamic again and again in this space. The future is here, and 3hunnatheartist is proof incarnate.

In addition to being a highly active Stacks ecosystem member, 3hunnatheartist has been busy recording during the pandemic. He has much more music to be released via his Web 2 and Web 3 platforms. In addition to that he has been busy collaborating with: Longstreet.btc , Dr. $uss, thedoc.btc and Arno from earth. Getting to know 3hunnatheartist a bit better was an absolute joy. It is my hope that after reading about this amazing young artist you find yourself with a bit more joy and inspiration in your life.
